What are vertices?
Vertices are the end point of a shape, it describes the corner points of any geometrical shape. For example if we discuss a square it is a four sided shaped figure, it can be named as square looking at the number of vertices.This type of examples can be given even for a pyramid have you seen a pyramid with 5 vertices this is called as square pyramid. If the pyramid has 7 vertices then that is called a hexagonal pyramid.
